The Rich Cream from Augustinus Bader tops our list for most effective anti-aging moisturizer.
Used as either a day or night cream, its formula contains the brand’s proprietary TFC8 technology, a blend of active ingredients that work together to stimulate the skin’s natural repair processes.
But what does that mean for you? We dug deeper into some of the key product claims.
Claim: 97% agreed that skin’s tone and texture looks dramatically transformed
Verdict: True. As soon as you apply this cream, you’ll notice a more hydrated and supple feel to your skin, with noticeable improvement in firmness apparent in as little as 3 weeks of use (results may vary).
Claim: Clinically proven to reduce the signs of aging
Verdict: True. Around 5 weeks in, deep-set wrinkles and frown lines were noticeably reduced. Redness also diminished, making skin complexion look more even and balanced.
Claim: Suitable for all skin types
Verdict: Partly true. The cream is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, making it ideal for dry skin in particular, although this works for normal skin types too. Another thing we noticed straight away was that skin didn’t feel greasy at all (a common complaint amongst rejuvenating anti-aging creams, due to the fast absorbing formula. However, due to the thicker consistency, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend for oily skin types.
Is The Rich Cream Worth It?
There’s a lot of industry buzz around The Rich Cream, and after using for 6 or so weeks, it’s easy to see why, even though we were more than a bit sceptical at first. In short, it’s a cream that does exactly what it says, seemingly accelerating the growth of new skin cells, which makes skin look fresher, more lifted, plump, and dare-I-say-it…younger-looking. Top marks.
